United States of America

The United States of America is one of the world's largest and richest countries bordering Mexico to the south, Canada in the north and covering fifty states including Hawaii and Alaska.

The USA has always had a universal appeal due to its sense of enthusiasm, lack of cynicism and guaranteed warm welcome. Whether you consider yourself blessed with the pioneer spirit, would like to discover the breathtaking natural beauty of this vast continent or just want to relax on one of the many sandy beaches, soaking up the sunshine, the USA is the place to be.

Its size is matched only by its diversity. Every pocket and taste is catered for from budget motels to luxury hotels, whether in the mid-west in the "windy" city of Chicago, in deep-south Atlanta retracing the footsteps of Scarlet O'Hara, or holding a tea party in Boston. New York has to be the most famous city in the world with its familiar landmarks, attractions and department stores, but there are few sights more famous that the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington D.C.

If you crave the sunshine and a taste of the highlife then Hollywood, California, is ideal to indulge in a little celebrity watching or alternatively, head for Florida, nicknamed "the sunshine state", to soak up the year-round subtropical sunshine, perhaps play a round of golf on one of the world-class courses and sample the restaurants, cafes and nightlife of South Beach.

America's theme parks set the standard across the world, from the Walt Disney World Resorts in California and Florida, Universal Studios and the Animal Kingdom to the natural attraction of the Miami Everglades National Park, one of the largest marsh, swamp and natural parklands in the US.

Attractions in the US are limitless and the geography offers natural wonders such as the Grand Canyon, originally formed by the Colorado River, measuring one mile wide and twenty miles long and attracting over 5 million visitors each year. At the other end of the spectrum is the Las Vegas Strip. A stunning desert town built bursting with life, neon lights, casinos and wedding chapels where Elvis is alive, well and able to marry you.

It is said that anything is possible in America - I couldn't agree more!
